It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Elizabeth Lemon, who died peacefully and surrounded by family on January 25, 2017 at the age of 87. Married for 65 years, she will be sorely missed by her loving husband, Harold. Loving mother to Clark, Anne (Martin), Kirk (Eileen). Exceptional Nana to Ashley (Adam), Jennifer, Conor and Tara. Pre-deceased by her parents, Mary and Thomas Adams, and her brother Clarke (RCAF).

She embraced a tenacious approach to life and will be remembered for her gentle and kind spirit, her empathy for others and her quick-witted sass which so often brought us laughter. We take comfort in her unwavering faith and extend our sincerest thanks to the staff at Chartwell Aurora Longterm Care Residence who helped care for her health and well-being with such compassion over the last three and half years, and especially in her final weeks.

Celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 30 at 11 a.m. at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket). In lieu of flowers a donation to the OSPCA or the Alzheimer Society of Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
