HARRISON, Jo-Ann (nee Livingston) in her 64th year passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 16, 2017 with a long & lengthly battle from pulmonary fibrosis. She was born in Rosemount, Quebec on February 21, 1953 to Stanley & June Livingston. She attended Macdonald High School in St-Anne-De-Bellevue, Quebec & Huron Heights S.S in Newmarket. She enjoyed a successful career at Quebecor World Printing where she gained life long friendships with many of her coworkers. Jo-Ann married the love of her life Roy Harrison on February 21, 1975
And raised their two loving children, Danny & Lisa. Always so generous and compassionate. She would always put her family and friends needs ahead of her own until the very end. Her beauty and love for life came from within. She had a radiance that attracted many people. If you knew her, you couldn't help but adore and love her and her joyous sense of humour. Survived by her husband Roy, her son Danny (Michael) Harrison, daughter Lisa (Richard) Bauer. Her only grandson Cole "Cole Bear" Harrison. Brother Wayne (Wendy) Livingston, sister Linda Livingston & her mother June Livingston, as well as many nieces, nephews & friends. She was predeceased by her father Stanley Livingston & her sister Nanci Livingston-Sinclair. A celebration of Jo-Ann's life will take place at the Newmarket Veterans' Association on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
