The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Wayne Joyce can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Sadly, we are only learning today (Feb 6, 2017) of Wayne's passing. I am Sally Walton's (niece of Wayne and daughter of Helen, Wayne's sister) husband. We live outside of Vancouver, BC. When we lived in Toronto, Wayne was a regular Sunday dinner guest at our house. He was a great uncle, and we loved him. His humour, wit, and caring for others, was appreciated by each of us. Wayne became a friend and someone we really liked and cared about. After some major geographic re-locations overseas and then to BC coupled with the passing of years we lost contact with Wayne but he will forever be someone special to us. Elsie meant everything to him and it was obvious to us that Wayne had found love, stability, and his soulmate. Elsie, thank-you for loving this very special family member and bringing him joy.
