Wurts, Elwood George Ernest - Passed away peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge in Keswick, on Sunday January 29th, 2017, at 83 years of age. Loving husband of Elizabeth Louise Wurts (nee Whitford) of 55 years. Beloved father of Susan (Bill). Brother of Beverly (Dave), and uncle to Lea (Andrew) & Owen. Elwood was a member of the RCAF, and studied Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. He worked for the Federal Government, Public Works, as a Civil Engineer, in the Marine Division. Elwood loved to sail, travel, and spend time with his family. A celebration of his life will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S, Newmarket on Thursday February 2nd, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. If desired, a donation may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
