Condolence From: Brian Hoag
Condolence: Vaya con dios to a true gentleman. I met Hector when he started driving for the TTC at Lansdowne Division and again at Arrow Rd. A more diligent, modest, honest man would be difficult to find. A genuine champion in every sense. The world is poorer for his passing but richer for his memory.

Condolence From: Lynne ( Ceccarossii) Cardinale and family
Condolence: We've known Hector since 1964 when he played soccer in Boston. Hector, Elda and Monica lived next door in my grandmother's third floor apartment and Monica and I became fast friends! Our Mom's did everything together and it was sad for us when they couldn't stay in Boston. We stayed close and made our vacations to see each other! We love Hector and will miss him terribly! Love and prayers to all the family.

We enjoyed our visits with Elda and Hector. Hector was always charming, happy to see us, and fun to be with. He had a great sense of humour and a twinkle in his eye. We will miss him.

Condolence From: Ferrin Family
Condolence: Dear Elda, Monica, Hector Jr and Roberto,

Our family sends it collective and heartfelt condolences to all you and your families. The Ferrin family was blessed to call the famiglia Marinaro, great friends, with whom we shared so, so many fantastic and beautiful memories with. Although our hearts are very heavy, we will always have with us Hectors tremendously important influence on our lives, along with the great Elda. Hector was only a great coach (my best ever - Gino), but an even greater gentleman and friend. We were also blessed to have Hector coach my son (Massimo - born in 1998) for 3 years from 2006-2009, where Hector freely shared his great love of soccer to young aspiring soccer players. I have heard from some of those now 18-year-old players who were greatly and so positively affected and moved by Hector. They all pass on their love to you all. Thank you Boss! Thank you 'Mister', Gracias Hector! The Ferrins loved you and will continue to do so until we meet again. God bless you and enjoy your new life in Heaven.

Silvana, Gino (Maria), Marco (Erika), Joe (Fabiana)

Condolence: To the wonderful Marinaro Family I send my condolences and heartfelt sorrow. Hector Sr. was a giant of a man in a very humble way. His love for soccer was always evident. His love for family was truly inspirational for those who were fortunate to know the Marinaro's.
Momma Marinaro you are a one of a kind. Your smile is contagious and the way you and Hector raised your children is special. Remember the good memories and know that we are all hurting a little with this news. May you all continue to demonstrate the great examples Hector set in his life's journey. May God bless all of you during this difficult time. Love from Dotty and me.
