Evelyn Fairbarn (nee Lee) passed away peacefully at Eagle Terrace on March 24 in her 95th year. Loving wife of the late Donald Fairbarn. Sister of the late Jean (Arthur) Webster and the late Hazel Smith (nee Lee). Daughter of the late James Chesley Lee and Mary Viola Lee. Predeceased by her brother-in-laws Freeman (Mabel) Fairbarn and Perry (Ruth) Fairbarn. Beloved Aunt of Debbie (Bob), Jim (Anna), Ruth, Cyndy (Grant), John (Kristen) and all her other and extended nieces and nephews. Evelyn affectionately spent her life caring for her parents. She also faithfully devoted herself to the church. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Eagle Terrace for their care and support. Friends may call at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Friday, March 31st from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at New Hope Methodist Church, 337 Queen St, Newmarket on Saturday, April 1 at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior. A reception will take place after at the church followed by an interment at Queensville Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to New Hope Methodist Church or Gideons.
