It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dearly beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Janna passed away peacefully at 94 years of age. Predeceased by Sidney, her precious and much loved husband
of 61 years. Devoted Mother of Joop and wife Carol of Newmarket, Jo-Ann and husband James of Phoenix, AZ. Grandmother with much pride to Kevinand his wife Keisha of Nassau, Bahamas; Christopher and his wife Catrina
of Holland Landing; Andrea and husband Michael of Newmarket; Alison and husband Derigan of Denver, CO; Patrick and his wife Amy of Phoenix, AZ; Laura of Phoenix, AZ; Andrew of Scottsdale, AZ. Adored great grandmother of Alexandra and Emma, Josh, Brandon, Owen and Eli, Sydney, Roan, Noah and Joel, Taylor and Emily, James and Olivia.

Janna will be missed by her sister Henny and husband Jan and sister-in-law Tiny of The Netherlands. Janna and Sidney met in Holland and were married in 1945. She was a proud war bride who came to Canada in 1947 after the
birth of their first child. They lived in Petawawa and moved to Elliot Lake in 1958. Janna enjoyed a long career in fashion retail. Her sense of style was well recognized and appreciated.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses on the Orthopedic Floor and in Palliative Care at the Southlake Regional Hospital. Services to be held at 1:00 pm at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket. A celebration of life to be held at the Roxborough Retirement Residence in Newmarket on Saturday, April 1, 2-4pm.

Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers.
