New to the country

Gord was a very helpful neighbor throughout the years we lived in the country across from him.  We inherited a horse with the house we bought.  We had no idea what to do when the horse layed down in the long driveway after consuming too many oats.  Gord came across the road and just gave him a subtle kick and the horse jumped to his feet.  We had to keep Sho-tan walking until the vet could arrive to tube him.  Gord was a life saver.  Also I would get the odd call from him to my work when Sho-Tan would escape our property and end up over at Gord's.  He would tie him to a tree and i'd get him after work.  I was sad when the Proctors moved to Newmarket.  Best neighbors you could ever ask for.
