We always looked forward to our family's visits to Chesley and some adventures with our Zang cousins. It was a time when children were left pretty much to their own devices for long periods of time and we made the most of them. We would show up at their door early in the morning..Aunt Bernice would just smile and share her wonderful laugh and welcome us in ..what was 4 more children for meals and everything else. In all my memories of my Aunt she was always so cheerful and positive with that wonderful laugh bubbling close to the surface. She was such a sweet and kind woman, mother and aunt. She lives on in our memories and our hearts.
