Condolences

Condolence From: Adam Fulton
Condolence: Madelle Bone (as she was known at the time) was our bonbon wielding french teacher when I was in Ralph's 5th grade class. That was Maple Leaf circa 1985 or so. She was the kindest most enthusiastic french teacher I ever had and enjoyed when she made a guest appearance for our french class. She was like a walk-on guest for a children's show to teach us the beauty of french. It was nice to hear she married Ralph, who was the most significant, influential and inspirational teacher that I had throughout public school and even high school. I hope you are reading this Pharaoh Birch!

Condolence: My deepest condolences to Ralph and the family. As a neighbour, I got to know Diane and Ralph over the past 8 years. Diane loved the outdoors and her garden with her husband Ralph. Their front garden was a delight to see on a daily basis. Diane also loved your children and grandchildren. We had many discussions about family life. Diane is deeply missed in the community of Leslie Valley. My prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
God Bless

Condolence: Madame Birch was my French teacher at Maple Leaf public school--she was so much fun!! Loved her pizazz and love of teaching. And who could forget her bonbons! We lived for those moments! So sad to hear of her passing--she will be dearly missed!

Condolence: Diane was an amazing French teacher and later became my friend. We worked out at the same gym together. I will really miss our Saturday talks and her wisdom and quick sense of humor. She provided me with so much great career and life advice; Diane never stopped teaching others.
Diane will be fondly remembered by many.

Condolence: The news of Diane's death really took me by surprise. She will be greatly missed. I met Diane a little over two years ago at the George Richardson park where we met her great nephew and Mr Birch. It was a time when I needed a listening ear and I was so grateful for her advice and humour. I was delighted when her great nephew started at the same school as my daughter and I could have a quick catch up and a giggle. Diane we will miss you dearly, you were an angel on earth and greatly respected. Deepest condolences to Diane's husband and family. Heaven has gained an exceptional soul.

Condolence: Madame Bone was my French teacher at Maple Leaf in grade 4. One of the reasons I pursued an education including multiple languages was because of her enthusiasm for French. And she used to bring cookies on Fridays. My condolences to her family. Reposez en paix.
