At Woods Park Care Centre Retirement Residence, Barrie, in her 87th year. Rita Stones (nee Borg), long-time resident of Newmarket, beloved wife of the late Clay Stones and dear mother of Robert Stones (Debbie) of Barrie, Joanne of Innisfil, Donna (Garry) of Innisfil, Proud Nunna of Christine (Greg), Kevin (Shannon), Brenda (Ray), Jason, Jennifer, Tyler (Teri-Lyn) and Sarah and Boz Nunna of Jocelyn, Julie, Elyana, Madeline, Lily, Sophie, Nora, Thomas, Kassidy and Lilly. Sister of Pat Menard of Peterborough, Manuel Borg of Toronto, Jessie Bennett of Barrie and the late Carol Leek, the late Tony Borg and the late Mary Anderson. Rita will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Monday, May 29, 2017, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m, with a service by the Royal Canadian Legion at 6:30 p.m. Funeral mass to take place at St. John Chrysostom Church (Main & Ontario Streets), Newmarket, on Tuesday May 30, 2017, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at St. John's Cemetery.
