The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rita Stones can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Rita's passing. I worked with Rita for many years at the Housing office in Aurora. she was a lovely lady and would always take time to ask about my children. Even today when I drive up Prospect I turn my head to look at her house as if she was still there.

When your dad passed I always spoke to your mom just before Christmas to catch-up when she was leaving on Prospect St. Two truly compassionate & loving neighbours. Deepest sympathies. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom/Grandma. Rita was a lively lady and enjoyed her life and family. Rita always made everyone feel so welcome and took time out to make sure she spoke with every single person in a family gathering.
