Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dennis "Denny" Maxwell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Denny was definitely one of the friendly faces in the neighbourhood. Many times we would cross paths while dog walking over the years. I remember the day he was wearing his winter husky hat while his two dogs walked on either side of him; he was famous!

We will think of you as we follow your trails on the side walks. Condolences and strength to his family, very sorry for the loss of your husband and dad.

Condolence: We were deeply saddened to hear about Denny's passing on Doug's Facebook. I will treasure Denny's warm friendship forever I have many fond memories our daily chats and milk bone treats for his 2 beautiful Husky dogs at Gorham/Muriel when I was school crossing guard January-June 2015 before our move to retire in Stratford PEI. I always looked forward to seeing Denny's smile and outfits that showed his passion for sport teams at my 1st early morning shift it was a great way to start my day. We send our condolences to Doug, Ruth and Family. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of sorrow.

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to heaven
And bring you back again.

No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And Only God knows why

Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know

But now we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store

Since you’ll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you’ll always stay

Condolence: We were very sad to learn about Denny's passing, through Facebook. We looked forward to seeing Denny pass by our house on Sparrow Road, at least once a day with his beautiful huskys. He kept us informed about the recent events going on in the neighbourhood. Denny was truly delightful and always happy and pleasant. We will miss him so very much, and will not soon forget him. I loved his blue eyes; and I see from pictures, that his son has the same beautiful eyes.
What is remarkable is, we were not aware that Denny and his family were close friends to family friends of ours, as well. We were most likely at the same social functions throughout the years. My best friend of sixty years, Brenda (nee Leeson) sister, Beth Agar and her family, have had a special relationship with the Maxwell Family. I consider them my family, as they have a special place in my heart. I also felt close to their son Doug, since he was small! I wish we could have shared this information with Denny!
Mrs. R. Maxwell, Doug, and family, please accept our deepest condolences.
What a wonderful man Denny was! We were all blessed to have known him!

Condolence: We came to know Denny at the corner of Muriel and Gorham as he walked Maya and Echo.
We are shocked and saddened with his passing and offer condolences to His wife and his son Doug and Family. He was a very warm gentleman and he would often come over and stop by our house along his walking route. The Leafs and Jays have lost their biggest fan and we have lost a good friend.
