Condolence: So sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing. I have great memories of working with her at Sears Newmarket and remember her always having a comical remark for me either about me or someone else. She was one of my work comrades that I will always remember!

Condolence: oh Aunt Jeanne, you will be so missed. You were always a bright light. Always so warm and interested in our adventures, I always looked for you in the crowd. You were a great example of how to live a life… I loved that you packed up and headed to Vegas for much of the year.. cool Aunt Jeanne. So you are once again the fab 5, I'm sure it's a great party up there. You will me greatly missed down here… I love the times we shared! Well done AUnt Jeanne, rest in peace.

Condolence: When we came into each other's lives Jeanne, it was a mutual admiration. We laughed like kids at the same things, we had visits on the phone, visits in your home and visits at the Duncan Open and we had a couple of hilarious sleep overs with Pat, Ernie, Don, me, Ev and you .... oh those fabulous red silk pyjamas you wore!!! We never ever said goodbye without saying I love you and I will miss you my friend .... save me a place.

Condolence: I always thought of Aunt Jeanne as "fun" Aunt Jeanne. I was telling Jeff tonight about the time I got a brand new pair of roller skates - when I was about 12 and already had size 8 feet. Aunt Jeanne was over and decided she'd take them for a spin. It was great fun! She brought so much joy into all our lives, and particularly into Mom + Dad's life - and the lives of her children and grandchildren, and all her nieces and nephews. "Fun" Aunt Jeanne, or "lean Jeanne the betting machine" as Sandra once named her after a visit in Vegas - will be dearly missed. Hope to see you on Thursday to bring hugs in person. Love, Kris.

Condolence: Aunt Jeanne was my godmother. And as the godparent in the Christian tradition, I suppose I always assumed she would undertake parental responsibilities once my own parents departed this astral plane. I was a relatively young pup – just 51-years-old when my own mother died in 1997. And that’s when I suggested to Aunt Jeanne that she was now totally responsible for me and that I should be included in her Last Will & Testament. She agreed – and promised to leave me a shiny nickel. We laughed and kidded about that for years. But now it’s time to collect. I’ll be in Newmarket this Thursday evening and I’m not leaving without my rightful inheritance. That nickel could be worth as much as six or seven cents in a few years. I have always loved you, Jeanne. Although far too often it was from a distance and way too many years between visits. But that’s how families are sometimes. Regardless, that shiny nickel is mine – and I aim to collect. Terry Vollum (Nancy too)
