Obituary for Pamela Marjorie Lemmon (Sykes)

Pamela Marjorie (nee Sykes) Lemmon, passed away suddenly on July 3. Born in Toronto, Ontario in January 1950. Loving wife to Paul Lemmon and sister to Bryan (Kathy). Dear mother of Mark (Katie) and Michelle (Adam) and loving and proud grandmother to Abby and Joel. Predeceased by parents Marjorie and Charles and sister Sharon.

Pam will always be remembered for her friendly and generous spirit, her love of adventure and travel (including her expressionistic squeal of delight) and collection of photos and scrapbooks. She served as an elementary school teacher for over 30 year's for the Peel District School Board. In retirement, she volunteered her free time working with young readers at the local school. She was an active member of the Brighton YMCA, valued member of the Brighton Probus Club, along with the neighbourhood book club. She will be greatly missed by all.

The family will receive visitors at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket, Ontario on Friday, July 7 between 7pm and 9pm and on Saturday, July 8 between 10am and 11am with service to follow at 11am in the chapel at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home.
