Obituary for Ethel Juanita Wall

Ethel Juanita Wall
WALL, Ethel - It is with great sadness that the family of Ethel Juanita Wall (nee Henderson) announces her passing on Sunday September 3, 2017 at 95 years of age. She was born on August 20th, 1922, in Stayner, Ontario. She was predeceased by her son Robert O’Desse, her sisters, Alma Rowsell and Lois Arbour, also her brothers Cecil and Russell Henderson. She is survived by her daughter Lorraine Edwards (Gary) of Okotoks, Alberta and her son Peter O’Desse (Kelda) of Richmond Hill, Ontario. Also, a special niece Myrna McDonald of Calgary, Alberta, whom she considered to be her second daughter. She is also survived by six grand-children, eight great-grandchildren and four great, great grand-children. Ethel worked for many years in the newspaper business, beginning at the Newmarket Post and finally, at the Newmarket Era until she retired in 1987. She was a strong, proud woman, and considered by many, a zany character, not only at work, but socially as well. Always ready for a good time and a laugh. Many thanks to her friends and neighbours who were so supportive during her final days. Special thanks to Dr. Dukesz and Ann. A celebration of her life will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Thursday September 14, 2017 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the War Amps (Champs Division) or any charity of your preference.
