Lois Potter passed away peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge on Friday, December 29. 2017 in her 93rd year. Loving wife of George Potter for 71 years. Beloved mother of Jim (Marsha), Gerry (Lee), Ruth (Brock), and Gayle(Bill). Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Survived by brother Lloyd and predeceased by sister Aileen and brother Art. Daughter of the late Ernest and Pearl VanKoughnett. The family would like to thank Cedarvale nursing staff. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street, South, Newmarket on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. in our Chapel, with an hour visitation prior. The family invites everyone upstairs for a reception following the service. Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery, Toronto. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
