The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bud (H.W.S.) Brice can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Jo-Ann Rankin Carroll

My sympathy to Howard, Kelly Dean and Katie and their families, as well as Howard's brother, Barry and his family, and Sally and Bob Leck and their family. Just for the record, I first met Howard 68 years ago, the 'whirling dervish' of the 'gang'. Those were the days (and sometimes daze), yet, somehow, throughout the years, we've managed to keep in touch. Even if it was only intermittent, we'd pick up from our last visit and catch up. You might say we were the late 40s, 50s, 60s version of the "Our Gang + Darla (that would have been me)" meets the "Bowrey Boys" gang. I'll call us the "Shenanigans" Howard was always an original, doomed to be a success from a very early age. He did, at least, know how to have a good time. Just to watch him could wear the average person out, although he did step very lightly, gliding across the dance floor. By my count there are but four of us left from that crew of craziness, but it was fun. Would'a, could'a should'a, but age and complications began to get in the way. Howard was interesting, never boring, funny, creative, savvi, driven,at times annoying, entrepreneurial, energetic, talented in busines, and man oh man, on top of all that - could he play those spoons!!! We're going to miss you a lot, Bud! Pax Vobixcum.
