Joseph Leinster

Joe passed away peacefully, in the care of his family, at Hadley Grange on March 6th 2018, in his 89th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen (nee Young), he was the loving father of Janis King (Kim), John Leinster (Lynn) and Elaine Hall (Brian) and proud grandfather of Ian (Tania), Alec (Jen), Neil Alan (Monika) and Samantha (Ryan). “Poppa” delighted in his great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Colin, Mackenzie, Anna, Rosalyn, Malcolm and Matilda.

The eldest child of Robert and Elizabeth Leinster (Gaffney), he will be fondly remembered by his brother John Leinster (Janet) of Glasgow and sisters Kathleen Power (Tom) of Brooklin and Elizabeth Caruth (Stanley) of Newmarket. Joe was predeceased by his brother James Leinster of Glasgow and his sister Maureen Collins, of East Kilbride.

His family would like to thank ACL, CHATS, Dr. Armani, the staff of Wellington Pharmacy, and the nursing staff of palliative care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House or Sick Children's Hospital. Service details available at www.roadhouseandrose.com
