Condolence From: Tom Hawryluk
Condolence: I was lucky enough to be a member of the first class she had at lockerby high school in sudbury. The entire class was in love with her. Years later met her on a train to Sudbury. She told me it was her first class and that she was terrified. I got to see her once more at Lockerby 25 reunion. Just super memories,an outstanding individual. Thanking the family for sharing her with us. I firmly believe the entire class was in love with her. I know your loss is great. Tom

Condolence: Dear Victoria, Darryl and Family, I would like to express my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to you and your whole family at this difficult and sad time. The wonderful tribute to your Mom Joan and the beautiful pictures tell the story of an incredible woman who loved life and her family most of all. I loved the picture of her fall in the snow with a big smile on her face. May you find comfort in the precious loving memories you shared with your Mother and know that her spirit lives on with you and her grandchildren forever.

Condolence From: Phyllis and Dave Gray
Condolence: Dear Murray, Vicky, Jeffrey and family. What a sad loss for your whole family. Joan was such a kind, loving, helpful and enthusiastic grandma to her grandchildren. Who else but Joan (and Murray) would take the kids on their own to the cottage for a holiday, or to Ottawa to visit all the museums. We already miss sitting on the benches with her at Ben and Nathan's basketball games, but we believe she's still watching, and cheering them on. We shared some difficult times, and we also shared some good laughs and lunches together. It was a privilege knowing her, and sharing our grandchildren, and we'll keep her in our hearts. Hugs to all, Phyllis & Dave

Condolence: We will miss meeting Joan in church; whenever she came she brought a smile and a few words of friendship. Both of these are among the qualities we will remember with thanksgiving for her time with us along with the love that she demonstrated for all God's world. A Christian of stature. God Bless you Joan as he has blessed us in knowing you. Janet and Frank.

Condolence From: Lauretta Bell
Condolence: Vicki - So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. So little time for a proper goodbye. After Kirk died, when I finally set aside all anger and resentment, I was able to 'feel' his presence and it gave me a real sense of peace. Hope this happens to you and you feel comfort with her presence. Lauretta (Phyllis's sister)
