Condolence: I trained at Toronto East General Hospital for three years, and am a classmate of Donna. We both graduated in 1955 with our R.N.Certification.

She was a caring, competent nurse and I have happy memories of our training days and of Donna. My condolences to Nick and her family.

Sincerely,

Ruth Marilyn (Goddard) Belch. Class of 1955.

Condolence From: Carol Montgomery Dekker
Condolence: I believe Donna is the girl I was friends with in my high school class. She was an amazing person and very focused and mature for her age. We talked about her desire to be a nurse and how she managed her responsible summer job with one outfit consisting of a cotton blouse and a gray wool skirt she had made herself and cleaned and pressed every night to be fresh and professional the next day. Her father was the school caretaker and I’m sure money was very short.
I have often wondered if she succeeded in her dream and from the picture I believe she did. I “googled” her in vain, wanting to get in touch.
She was a very special “one-off” person and I will remember her always.
With sympathy in your loss of an outstanding person,
Carol
