Condolence: Glen, Jane and family
So sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. Both Bruce and Doris were so much a part of growing up in Sharon. Bruce was one of my first sunday school teachers. Many happy memories of playing with your cousins in that huge house and of the ACW Christmas parties. Both had long productive lives and will be fondly remembered.

Condolence: I was saddened to hear about your dad’s passing from my dad. My dad, also Bruce, was on K2E and both Bruce’s sat together in the dining room. Your dad always had a kind word when I visited and he always remembered to ask me about Campbellford. He thought it so funny that Jane and I were both from there. My condolences to you all. Condolence: Glenn & Jane,
I was sorry to read of Bruce's death in the newspaper. I extend my sympathy to you and your family. You probably don't remember but I met you briefly some years ago in Sharon when I was researching my Great Great Great Grandparents Thomas & Mary Peacock. My great grandmother was Ester (Stobbart) Banks, Tom Stobbart's sister. They were first cousins of Libby (Jarrett) Ramsay whose picture I have shared. Bruce and Doris were very helpful in loaning me pictures of my ancestors to copy while researching that side of the family. Bruce had a wonderful memory and I treasure those reminiscences and photographs.
Sincerely,
Randall Reid

Condolence From: The Staff of the Sharon Temple Museum
Condolence: Mr. Ramsay and his family play such an important role in the history we tell at the Sharon Temple Museum. We remember him fondly waving at us as he went on his daily walks past the site and dropping in with surprise artifacts or stories about growing up in Sharon.

We will continue to tell our visitors about him planting the beautiful Norway spruce trees when he was a child and how his family home preserves pieces of the beautiful Meeting House which used to stand on their property.

Thank you, Mr. Ramsay, and our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Condolence: I will always remember Mr. Bruce Ramsay for his kindness shown me when I first started attending St. James Anglican Church in Sharon. He drove a bunch of us kids for communion classes up to Keswick. Always with a smile, rain or shine. A great friend and neighbour in the the history of the village of Sharon. He and his wife Doris were faithful members of the family of St.James. A good man, a full 100 years! Wow! He will be missed and remembered. My thoughts go out to Glen and Jane and their families. God Speed.

Condolence: Glenn, Jane and families. Our deepest sympathies for the loss of an awesome man. He was so proud of his children/grandchildren. We always enjoyed our visits when we brought our mother by to see your mom and dad and he always went to the kitchen and made tea. He was such a character! His sense of humour was outstanding and he never let his failing eyesight and lack of mobility get him down....walking up to the corner on a daily basis until his fall. Our parents were life long friends and had so much fun travelling together to Masonic events. I'm sure the 4 of them are having a great time already!!

Condolence: Quietly he went about meeting his commitment to our church, St. James the Apostle, Sharon, both as a Lay Reader and a congregant. A humble man with so much to be proud of; it is a privilege to be able to count him among those who made a contribution to and difference in our lives. May he rest in peace with his Doris.
