Condolence: Wally and Freda are forever in our hearts. When I think of Wally - I always think of Freda as they were inseparable. They were a true reflection of the ultimate love and amazing parents and grandparents-truly devoted to their children, their grand children and their great grandchildren. Wally and Freda's assistance in helping raise Mary, Charlotte and Franc was unwavering. They provided love, support and more often than not the most amazing home made meals. One can never forget the dinner Wally and Freda hosted with Nyla, Mary, Charlotte and Franc after my dad died. After Freda died, I truly admired Wally's valient efforts to resume normal life-knowing how much he missed his one true love. Wally's visits to Freda's grave and the notes and gifts he left were heartbreaking yet reflected what true love looks like. Wally and Freda set a standard we all aspire to achieve - while they will are dearly missed they will not be forgotten and their positive role model and impact will continue for generations. W e love and miss you both. Jenn, Mark, Ryan, Reid and Jasper

Condolence: We first met Diana. Franc and Dustin when we moved to Newmarket. Some years later came Laina, Walter and Freda. (Not sure in what order) Many happy memories ensued. Many, many good times. Then some very sad times. Then life moved on, but not forgotten. We welcomed Dustin, Martha, two beautiful daughters and a handsome son. Laina and a delightful young man, Jim and his precious daughter Nicole, and a whole host of extended family and friends. Walter and Freda were always the centre of the action when it came to family. They will both be sorely missed. My love to all.

Condolence: Dear Garry, Alana, Diane and families, We are sorry to be so far away when news like yours comes our way. Although we only met Freda and Walt a few times in our visits to Ontario, Gord and I will never forget the warm friendliness of your parents. One of the memories that we hold dearly in our hearts is when Walt and Freda invited us to their home for a jigg’s dinner – they were both clearly proud of their Newfoundland heritage. We had such a great time with them and you. We are also really glad we had a chance to visit with Walt last summer when we stayed with Alana and Garry. It is so difficult to lose a loved one and we hope that all the very special memories you have of Walt help to sustain you on those difficult days ahead. Love Marie, Gordon, Scott, Amanda & Anna and Graeme Matheson
