Condolence From: Susan McEwen (Yake)
Condolence: Myrna and Peter, So many years have past since we were all kids sitting on the floor in your living room playing Monopoly (and Peter cleaning up). When I think of your parents, I remember how very much I felt welcome and a part of their day whenever I visited. I think their faces should be in the dictionary beside the word "loving". I remember their laughter and genuine concern for anyone they met. Your Mom's voice is in my heart and you will be there in heartfelt prayers.

Condolence: Our family moved next door to Mr and Mrs Joshua in 1971. I was three years old. Two of the loveliest people I have ever known. My heart broke when I heard the news of Mrs Joshua’s passing. She was so kind to me. In all the years that we lived there, even after I was grown and moved out. She never forgot my birthday and would call out the door to me to give her best wishes. I am so grateful for her friendship with my parents as well. She would always visit and check on them as the years passed giving all of us peace of mind that they were not alone if they needed assistance. Mrs Joshua was our neighbor and friend but I know I can speak for all of us when I say she was family. She will be dearly missed.

Condolence From: April Friend (Tennant)
Condolence: Mrs. Joshua and her husband truely were part of our family. We grew up next door to them. They were my Grandparents neighbours for 50 plus years. I dont remeber many visits to Grandmas where we didnt see them even if it was as simple as a smile and a wave to say hello. Often times they would sneak us treats like a cookie or candy or an ice cream. Mrs. Joshua she inharited a huge family when she moved next door. They loved us and cared as much as we loved and cared for them. You dont get neighbours like that ever its a once in a life time blessing. Her smile was always warm her hugs comforting. She would encurrage us and she even attended my wedding thats how important she was to me. To the Joshua family your Mother and Grandma was incredibly loved by us and our hearts are with you in these times. Sending our love.

Condolence: The world lost a beautiful amazing caring and loving woman. Mrs. Joshua was my grandparents neighbour forever,a family friend and a piece of our Tennant family. She was there when I trick or treated at her door as a young girl for Halloween and taking photos of our costumes. She was there when I walked and walked by her house waiting for my son to be born. She was there during his first snow fall and helped take some photos of him and I. She was there for some many celebrations held next door. She was there when we lost my Grandfather, then my Aunt, and then my Grandmother. She was there when we all had to say goodbye to the house next door, where we all grew and played. Mrs. Joshua was family. We will greatly miss her. Rest in Peace sweet Mrs. Joshua. We love you. Xoxox
