It is with great sadness and heavy heart we announce the passing of Patricia Florence Gray (nee Moore). She passed away peacefully at Woodspark, Barrie, Ontario on August 12, 2017 in her 87th year after a brave fight with Alzheimer’s. Loving wife of Piers Frederick Gray for 66 years. Beloved mother of Chris (Marie), Laure Foster, Elizabeth DeBiasio (John) and Janet Amaro. Proud grandmother of Kelly, David, Lee (Darryld), Kevin, Kailyn, Jennifer (Shawn), Kimberly (Ryan) and Jessica. Great grandmother of Katherine, Kirsten, Lily and Jack. Predeceased by brothers Jack and Bill. Daughter of the late George and Florence Moore. Pat graduated from St. Joseph Hospital, Mothercraft Nursing Program and went on to care for many babies and young children. She also raised a family of 4 children of her own. Mom was an avid crafter, sewer, quilter and a baker supreme. The family would like to thank the staff at the Woodspark and a special thanks to the staff on 3A. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Thursday, August 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Friday, August 18 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception.
