The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Laing can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: David Laing was one of the nicest, sweetest men I ever knew. A great sense of humour and a core belief in the loves of his life, his wife Jean, his two daughters, Donna and Linda, and his son, Doug, and of course his grandchildren, Brooke, Darryl, Mike, Robbie and Lenny.
David was a special breath of fresh air for then teenagers like myself, who cherished original, honest human beings.
Rest in peace my friend, and thank you for the many years of fond memories.
