Dr. William Broatch McClintock, M.D., FRCS(C)
Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in his 96th year. Loving husband of Mamie for 38 years. Beloved father of Ian (Eileen), Catherine (Frank), Cameron and Douglas (Sherri). Proud grandfather of Christopher (Anna), Sarah (David), Jessica, Adam, Jamie, Courtney and Caitlyn. Great-grandfather of Chloe and Emmaline. Predeceased by his former wife Sylvia, his brother Jack (Doris) and his parents Dr. Joseph Andrew and Margaret Broatch. Bill graduated U of T in 4T5 and then practiced at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital and York County Hospital until 1990. Special thanks to the caring nurses and PSW’s of Amica and the 3rd floor doctors and nurses at Southlake Regional Health Centre. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Wednesday, January 25 from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held in the chapel on Thursday, January 26 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southlake Regional Health Centre.
