The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Graham Armitage can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I'm one of the many co-workers from GO Transit who had the pleasure to work with Graham and I was saddened to only learn recently of his illness and then shortly after of his passing. When I first arrived at GO, fresh out of school in 1987, Graham treated me with more respect than I deserved and helped me to learn what I needed to know without ever making me feel like "the new guy". I always enjoyed his company and valued his advice and experience when we worked together on aspects of bus design and safety. We had the pleasure of a business trip to Winnipeg in 1990 and that will always be a fond memory for me. I'm glad to know that his faith gave him peace during this final part of life's journey. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for all the family who have had to say goodbye far sooner than any one would have wanted.

Condolence: Linda - Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Graham in his many different roles during my 20 years at Go Transit. The last few years as my immediate supervisor, mentor and friend. Graham was a great listener/adviser and of great support when it came time for me to make some serious decisions with regards to my future. You always knew that family was the most important thing to Graham as he regularly spoke proudly of all of you. Graham is in better place now. He left his mark with a lot of people and he will not be forgotten.
