Condolence: Ann is in the forfront of my oldest memories. We didn't meet often but when she did appear on the scene, those memories are "technicolour".
She was so glamourous. I thought she was a filmstar. She was full of fun and seemed surrounded by laughter. We sang terrible old 50's songs together.
Sadly, I saw very little of Ann. She disappeared off to the wilds of Canada with Rocky and Colette and husband, Tony, very erly in my life.
Even though I saw so little of Ann, she made me feel that I was very special in her life and I am so sad not to have said goodbye and I am so sorry not to be with all her family tonight. I hope you will hear some lovely stories and take solace in knowing what a wonderful Mum you have had. I will be thinking of you all.
